Power Decking is designed to be easy to assemble. The base comes in preassembled, modular sections and simply needs screwing together. The handrails are pre-built and ready to be secured to the newel posts. Full instructions and fixings are also provided. All you need is some basic DIY skills and hand tools to complete the build.

You can place a shed on your Power Decking Kit, providing that this has been fully prepared and is properly treated in advance. Make sure your Decking Kit is completely level! This would then complete your space by giving you a perfect storage area for your deck furniture and other garden items. However, this would not be a suitable base for a log cabin.

The boards used for our decking are approximately 28mm thick. The length of the timber will depend on the size of Power Timber Decking Kit purchased.

It is possible to attach multiple Power Timber Decking Kits together and we have made this as simple as we can. Once you have created your base frames, you simply butt the frames up to each other to the floorplan you require and screw these together using the 70mm wood screws provided.

All our Power Sheds Decking Kits will be delivered via a third-party courier who offer a kerbside, palletised delivery service. the pallet dimensions will be approx. 1.2m x 1.2m and can be up to 2.2m high. Depending on the size of the Power Decking Kits purchased, this will be delivered on 1, 2, or 3 pallets.

The size of the vehicle used as standard is either 18t/26t. Delivery can take place using a 7.5t/12t vehicle if requested. Delivery is kerbside only, anything further than this would need to be discussed with the driver on the day and is ultimately down to their discretion.

You may receive an ETA on the day, however as this is a third-party courier this is not something we can guarantee. All deliveries take place between 8.00am and 6.00pm and we are not able to influence this.

Decking is a beautiful asset to any garden and does require a certain level of all year-round maintenance to keep it looking at its best. The easiest way to keep it looking good is to make sure that the Power Decking is swept regularly to keep it debris free. As with all outdoor timber it is always good practice to treat and maintain the wood annually to keep it supple and prevent any shrinking/damage occurring. We would also suggest that you take this opportunity to give the deck a quick clean down prior to re treatment, so that you are starting the next year with clean and freshly treated decking.

This would depend on the level of DIY skill and the preparation already completed on the ground the decking will sit on. However, as a rough estimate, we would suggest for one of our 10×8 Power Timber Decking kits, being laid on pre-prepared ground with 2 novice DIY-ers to take approximately half a day.

The size of Power Timber Decking Kit you require depends on the space you have available. We recommend leaving a gap of approximately 2 feet around the perimeter of the decking, to allow adequate space for annual retreatment. The decking sizes are fully modular meaning you are free to create a deck as large as you want.
